Steel City Fins Adopted Christmas Family
Tom O’Connor, a Sergeant in the Pennsylvania State Police is ill with cancer. Tom and his wife have two young children, ages 5 and 7. The Steel City Fins are adopting Tom and his family for Christmas. If you are intrested in finding out how you can help out, please contact Missy.

Animal Friends
The volunteer corps at Animal Friends is a varied lot, ranging from youth volunteers who come with a parent to busy professionals and committed senior citizens. Some contribute a few hours each month, and others are at the shelter nearly as often as the staff. All share in Animal Friends’ mission, and can often be found excitedly discussing the adoption of a long-time resident or a milestone in the animal’s progress from a sometimes dismal start to a happy ending.

Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank
Produce to People is the Food Bank's direct distribution program. On Saturdays, Food Bank trucks and volunteers visit different low-income neighborhoods and simply give food away, around 25,000 pounds each time. www.pittsburghfoodbank.org

Since 1993, Ronald McDonald House- hot meals are delivered to the house quarterly after the March, June, September, & December meetings to be served the next day. Try to save your Pop Tops for the months listed above, they will be dropped in a bin at the House. Contact Dede & Byron Ruth

Since 2001, The Salvation Army - clothes delivered to the Salvation Army drop boxes. Any necessities (new toiletries, samples, non-food pantry items, etc) donated to The Salvation Army Family Caring Center. Contact John Balogh
