Steel City Fins - The Pittsburgh Parrot Head Club, Inc. is officially chartered with Parrot Heads in Paradise, the Atlanta-based headquarters of the national Jimmy Buffett Parrot Head Club Association, and embraces the following common statement of purpose:
The local Parrot Head Clubs are not-for-profit organizations whose purpose is to assist in local, community and environmental concerns, and to provide a variety of social activities for people with similar tastes and interests. We are a Pennsylvania non-profit corporation and have applied for federal tax exemption under the IRC Section (C)(7). We are recognized by Jimmy Buffett and his interests in Key West and New Orleans. We are not associated with HK Management, MCA Records or Margaritaville Records.
